I'm most interested in this trip because... The stories of our Black bike pioneers are often erased, forgotten, or buried. I’m honored to share in amplifying this legacy and continuing it with others across the country!

I’m looking forward to… Continuing the rich legacy of sisterhood on bikes.

I’m hoping to gain… A deeper spiritual connection with the communities and land we’ll pass through. I’m also looking to gain a tighter bond with everyone we meet on the tour.

I'm most interested in this trip because... I want to participate in long-distance bike riding and I am thrilled to be doing it for a great cause.

I’m looking forward to… The fellowship with other BIPOC womxn. The duality of individual effort and collective growth is dope and I am happy to be part of the process.

I’m hoping to gain…Friends, athletic discipline, and the joy of paying homage to the original 1928 Black Women cyclists.

I'm most interested in this trip because... I completed the Harlem to Philly portion of this ride [last] year & enjoyed myself!

I’m looking forward to… I am looking forward to starting my training more consistently starting tomorrow — I haven’t been as consistent. I would like this to be an enjoyable experience for [me]!

I’m hoping to gain… I am hoping to see just how much I can push and challenge myself as a female cyclist! To say that I’ve completed the tour is one thing but to say that I’ve properly trained for it (mentally, physically, emotionally) is another! I’d really like to break those bad habits of procrastination, excuse-making & lack of preparation.

I'm most interested in this trip because... I just learned about the experience from a 2021 participant and was immediately enthralled. The idea of tracing the lineages and legacies of those who came before me has always meant so much, and I’m deeply attracted to the idea of doing this work in community with others!

I’m looking forward to… Camaraderie with WOC and the physical challenge.
